Police launch CCTV appeal after Bath nightclub disorder leaves two hurt

Avon & Somerset Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a disturbance at a nightclub in Bath left two men with significant injuries.

Officers are appealing for witnesses, information and mobile phone footage following the public order incident, which happened at a venue in North Parade at around 2.40am on Saturday 21st March.

Police say several people were involved, and they have now issued an image of the man they would like to speak to, as they believe they may be able to help with the investigation.

He is described as a white man with short brown hair, wearing a grey tracksuit.

Police said two men, aged in their twenties and thirties, were injured in the incident.

Two arrests have already been made as enquiries continue. A man in his twenties was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and on suspicion of possessing a class A drug. He has since been released on conditional bail.

A woman in her twenties was also arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and on suspicion of obstructing a police officer. She has been released under investigation.

Officers said a number of enquiries have already been carried out, several people have been interviewed and the venue has cooperated with the investigation.
