Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a fail-to-stop collision in Keynsham last night, in which a pedestrian was seriously injured.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm yesterday, Monday 3rd June, when a car was in collision with a pedestrian, who was walking in the direction of Charlton Road from Charlton Park.
The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
A car, believed to have been involved in the incident, was later found burned out in a field near Kelston.
Police enquiries into the incident are continuing.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their enquiries.
