Police appeal for witnesses after pedestrian critically injured in collision

A man in his 20s is in a critical condition in hospital following a serious collision on Pulteney Road in Bath last night, Monday 10th June, and police are now appealing for witnesses.

The incident, which involved a pedestrian and a car, happened shortly before 10pm on Pulteney Road, near its junction with Bathwick Hill.

A man in his 20s suffered life threatening head injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.

The road remained closed until 5.50am today, Tuesday 11th June, to allow collision investigators to make a detailed examination of the scene.

They are now appealing for witnesses to the collision.
