Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a dog walker was assaulted in Keynsham on Monday, 9th May.
The victim was walking her dog in fields off Severus Street when she was punched and kicked by another woman after she asked her to keep her German Sheppard dog on its lead.
The incident happened at around 1.10pm.
Officers say they are aware a video of the incident has been posted online and have reassured the public that they have launched an investigation.
Police have visited the victim at home and have taken a statement from her and her husband.
Officers have identified two people they are keen to talk to and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
As part of the investigation, CCTV from the area will be reviewed, while neighbourhood officers will also be carrying out reassurance patrols.
