Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing the movements of a red Peugeot 107 as part of an ongoing murder inquiry.

The body of 40-year-old Karina Batista was found at a property in Kensington Park, Bristol, at about 10.20am on Monday, 13th February.

A post-mortem examination found she died from multiple injuries to the upper body.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

As part of the investigation, officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the red Peugeot 107 (pictured) between 3.15am and 6am on Monday.

Police believe the car, which has a hubcap missing from the front left wheel, was in the Kenysham area at the time.

Anyone who saw the car, or who has any other information, is asked to call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5217032601.
