Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a burglary at a flat in Marlborough Buildings in Bath at the start of November.

Police want to speak to this man

It happened between 4.30pm and 6.15pm on Wednesday 4th November.

The burglar forced the key safe and used a key to get into the building. The door of one of the flats was forced open and the property searched, but nothing was taken apart from post from the communal hallway.

Officers have carried out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries and Crime Scene Investigators have examined the property.

Police want to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or who has any dashcam footage which could help.

They’re especially interested to hear from anyone who noticed the occupants of a grey/gold Land Rover Discovery Sport with black wheels seen in the area, which was using false number plates.

Officers also want to trace a man, pictured in the area at the time. While he’s wearing a mask and a baseball cap, someone may remember seeing him.

If you have any information which could help, call 101 quoting reference 5220249939.

Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

They never tell the police who you are, just what you know.
