Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for information after a fail to stop road traffic collision near Dyrham on the A46 north of Bath last week.
It happened about 11.50am on Friday 15th December on the A46 near to the turn-off to Dyrham Park.
A Co-op articulated lorry was travelling towards J18 (Tormarton) of the M4.
A white van travelling in the opposite direction towards the A420 from the Tormarton direction was in collision with the offside tractor unit of the lorry, smashing the driver’s side mirror, which hit the offside window causing glass to smash and injure the driver.
He required hospital treatment but is not believed to have been seriously injured.
The driver of the van failed to stop and drove off in the direction of Bath.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have information to help their enquiries.
