Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for the public to help them identify two women who may have information about swindling at Tesco Express in Weston, Bath.
On Friday, 21st November, 2014 two females bought shopping and then confused the young sales assistant by repeatedly asking her to change £10 notes into £20 notes and then changing their minds and asking for the money to be changed into other denominations.
When they left the store it was discovered that they had stolen £360.
CCTV images have been released showing two women officers believe might have some information which can help with their enquiries.
They are described as:
- A white female who looked Eastern European; she had dark skin and was aged between 30-35 years, 5’06”with a medium build, very long black hair in a ponytail, pierced ears, and floor length black coat.
- A white female who looked Eastern European aged between 30-35 years, 5’06”-5’07” with a medium build, very long blonde hair tied up at back of head, floor length blue / black fake leather coat with a grey fur trim around the collar.
