Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Bath at the end of last month, in which an elderly man sustained a broken hip.

On Thursday 29th January, shortly before 11am in the Co-op supermarket carpark on Shaftsbury Road, Oldfield Park, a van was in collision with a pedestrian.

The elderly male pedestrian sustained a broken hip as a result of the collision and remains in the Royal United Hospital in Bath.

The driver of the van was spoken to by officers at the scene.

Police are now appealing for anyone who was in the Co-op car park on 29/01 between 10:50am and 11:20am to contact them on 101.
