Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for information following an arson attack earlier this week at the Adventure Cafe on George Street in Bath.

The front door of the Adventure Café in Princess Buildings, George Street, was deliberately set alight in the early hours of Tuesday 5th May.

The fire caused significant damage to the door.

Det. Insp. Adam Bunting from CID at Avon and Somerset police said: “I would like to firmly state that, at this stage, we are treating this incident as one of arson.

“We are concentrating our enquiries on the hypothesis that this was a deliberate attack on the Adventure Café.

“I would like to hear from anyone who was in the George Street area in the early hours of Tuesday – particularly around 1am.

“Any information you provide may prove crucial to our investigation.”

If you have any information, please call the police on 101 quoting reference number 45906/15.
