Peasedown man admits to sending sexual messages to child

A man from Peasedown St John has appeared in court accused of engaging in sexual communication with a child in August 2023.

Thomas Ruddle, of Wellow Tyning, was before Bath magistrates on Wednesday 9th July to admit sending images of his crotch with sexualised messages overlaying the image.

Magistrates ordered a pre-sentence report and committed the 38-year-old to Bristol Crown Court where will be sentenced on 14th August.

Ruddle was granted unconditional bail.
