Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the assault of a teenager in a village near Bath at the weekend.

Police had launched an appeal for witnesses and footage after the 16-year-old boy from Bath was assaulted by a group of people near Corston Post Office and village store at around 10.30pm on Friday 10th January.
He was later located by officers on Broomhill Road in Brislington, Bristol, at around 12.30am and was taken to hospital with injuries which were serious but not life-threatening. He has since been discharged.
An investigation into the incident was launched and two men, aged 20 and 26, were arrested on Sunday evening, 12th January, on suspicion of kidnapping, false imprisonment and GBH wounding with intent.
They both remain in police custody at the time of publishing.
