Man pleads not guilty to stalking former partner in Radstock

A man will stand trial at Bath Magistrates’ Court early next year, accused of stalking a woman in Radstock.

Ashley Marsh, 44, pleaded not guilty to stalking the woman with whom he was previously in a relationship.

He is charged with conduct between 1st September 2024 and 12th January 2025 which amounted to stalking which he knew, or ought to have known, amounted to harassment.

It is said he sent messages, nude images, phoned her, went to her address, left gifts, left voicemails, liked, spied, monitored and joined her Facebook group, provided her address to probation and courts as his, and changed his WhatsApp photo to give the impression they were still together.

The court heard that Marsh, of Evett Close in Exmouth in Devon, has been complying with police bail conditions which ban him from going to Radstock and from having any contact with his former girlfriend.

The magistrates ordered that both conditions will remain in place until the trial on 14th January 2026.
