27-year-old man pleads guilty to drink-driving on Midford Road

A 27-year-old man from Somerset who was found to be drunk in charge of a vehicle on Midford Road in Bath on 8th November has had 10 points added to his driving licence.

Bath magistrates heard on Wednesday 26th November that Euan Baker, of Adderwell Road in Frome, was found by police to have 40 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35.

Baker expressed his remorse for “a bad mistake that I will never make again”.

He was fined £333 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £133 and prosecution costs of £85.
