A 26-year-old man from Midsomer Norton has appeared before magistrates in Bath charged with 14 historic sex offences.

All the offences that Kenan Broadway, of Silver Street, is charged with are said to have taken place in Bath.

The first of the alleged offences dates back to 2013 against a boy aged 12.

The most recent alleged offences were in 2018 against a 15-year-old boy.

Eight of the 14 charges are so serious they are indictable only.

At the hearing on Wednesday 7th January, magistrates sent the case to Bristol Crown Court where Broadway will appear on 13th February for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

He was granted unconditional bail.
