23-year-old man charged following fail to stop collision in Southdown

A 23-year-old man has been charged after being involved in a fail to stop collision in the Southdown area of Bath which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

The incident happened at 9.45pm on Sunday 28th March on Mount Road in Southdown.

A 33-year-old man suffered serious injuries in the collision, but has now been released from hospital to continue his recovery.

The black Honda Civic car involved was later found abandoned in Writhlington near Radstock.

Connor Gapper, of Keynsham, was due before Bath Magistrates on Friday 9th April, charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road accident, driving without a licence, driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and making off without payment.
