19-year-old man arrested following knife incident at Odd Down store

A man has been arrested and remains in police custody following an incident at a Co-op store in Bath in which people were threatened with a knife.

Avon & Somerset Police say they were called at 2.30pm yesterday, Thursday 5th December, to the premises on Upper Bloomfield Road, and officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, they began enquiries to identify the person responsible.

The man was arrested last night on suspicion of affray.

A man suffered minor injuries during the incident.
