A Bath man with a drugs problem has appeared in court to admit stealing a pair of designer sunglasses worth £302.

Bath magistrates heard on Monday 26th January that Michael Nimmo was seen on CCTV concealing the Prada Linea Rossa glasses at The Sunglass Hut in St Lawrence Street, and then leaving without attempting to pay.

The theft occurred on 13th June last year. The glasses were not recovered.

Magistrates adjourned the case for a pre-sentence report to be prepared. Nimmo, of Barnabas House at Bladud Buildings, will be assessed to see if he is suitable for a drug rehabilitation requirement.

The 47-year-old was granted unconditional bail and will be sentenced at the court on 18th March.
