Bath man admits flouting criminal behaviour order three times

A man who has repeatedly breached a criminal behaviour order (CBO) banning him from entering Bath city centre has appeared in court in custody.

Bath Magistrates’ Court

The order was imposed on Daniel Wright at Bristol Crown Court last September.

At Bath Magistrates’ Court last Wednesday, 29th April, Wright admitted flouting the CBO three times – in Milsom Street on 12th April, in Stall Street on 17th April and in Westgate Street on 26th April.

There was no suggestion that Wright, of Dartmouth Avenue in Bath, had been committing any criminal offences in the area, the court heard. On one occasion, he was walking a friend’s dog.

For the breaches, Wright was ordered to pay a total of £365 which includes a fine, prosecution costs and court surcharge.
