Avon & Somerset Police have launched an investigation after two people were assaulted in the Twerton area of Bath in the early hours of this morning, Friday 13th May.
Officers and paramedics were called to Walwyn Close at 2.13am by witnesses reporting an injured man.
Upon arrival, the emergency services found a man with cuts to his hands and legs and a woman who had been beaten.
Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Crime scene investigators are carrying out a forensic examination and house-to-house enquiries are continuing.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the Walwyn Close or Newton Road area at the time.
They’d also like people to come forward with any dashcam or CCTV footage which could help the investigation.
