Police crackdown on anti-social behaviour on Midsomer Norton estate

Police say that “a great deal of work” is being done by them and other agencies to resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB) and criminal damage being experienced by residents of the Nightingale Way estate in Midsomer Norton.

The local policing team say the behaviour has taken the form of footballs “being kicked deliberately at properties relentlessly and abuse being directed at residents”.

Last month they said they had spoken to most residents in the area about the behaviour and to “named parties and their parents”.

In their latest update this month, police say the issue remains a priority.

They say very regular patrols have been conducted and “positive action” has been taken wherever there has been evidence of a crime or ASB.
