Police say there are “community tensions” at Eastfield Avenue in Weston in Bath due to ongoing anti-social behaviour in the area.

They say the beat team are patrolling within “hotspot areas” and they are continuing to liaise with the local housing association to deal with anti-social behaviour.
Officers said: “Regular beat surgeries have been held in the local community hub to successfully engage with local residents’ concerns and these will be continuing.”
They add that a joint agency community patrol engagement with residents is going to be arranged.
Housing association Curo said in a statement: “We’re continuing to work closely with the police, as well as other agencies and the residents of Eastfield Avenue, to address any concerns about anti-social behaviour.
“We encourage anyone with any information about anti-social behaviour to report it to the police and to our tenancy compliance team so that we can take action.”
