Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a burglary at Norton St Philip First School last week.
A large log was used to smash the school’s main entrance at around 5.10am on Thursday, 12 December.
The offender then forced entry into some of the school’s offices before carrying out untidy searches of them.
The school’s alarm was activated but the offender had left the scene by the time staff arrived.
It’s believed the offender arrived at the school in a vehicle.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious in the Church Street area of Norton St Philip around the time.
If you can help, call 101 and provide the call handler with the reference 5219286025.
