Avon and Somerset Police have said a body has been found during a search for a ‘vulnerable’ woman who was reported missing from her home near Bath.
Julie Montacute is believed to have left her home in Bishop Sutton, near Bath, between 8am and 10am on Thursday morning.
Officers appealed for information about her whereabouts as they were concerned for her welfare.
Police confirmed last night that a body had been discovered as part of their search for the missing woman.
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, officers have informed Julie’s family of the development.
