The incident happened at the One Stop shop in High Street just before 7am on Tuesday morning, 27th November.

Two men entered the store and stole cash, tobacco and alcohol. A third person is also sought, who was with the two men, but did not enter the shop.

One of the men was described as wearing a grey and black hooded top with the hood up.

The second man was wearing a grey or white top, again with a hood up, a black gilet and white gloves.

Both men are reported to have been wearing beanie style hats which were pulled down over their faces.

The three suspects all ran off in the direction of St John’s Church.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have been near the store either just before or after the incident took place, who may be able to help their enquiries. If you can help call 101, quoting 5218263160.

A 38-year-old man, arrested in connection with the incident, has been released on police bail, pending further investigation.
