Avon and Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and information following a collision between a car and a cyclist in the centre of Bath last month.

The incident happened on Pierrepont Street at the junction with North Parade on Thursday April 26th, between 11.30pm and 11.40pm.

A car, believed to be a grey Saab estate, was turning right into North Parade when there was a collision with the cyclist.

If you have any information about the car or the incident, or you were in the area at the time, call 101, quoting reference number 5218090547 and ask to speak to PC 4242 Merryweather.

Alternatively ring the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and give them the above reference. They never ask your name or trace your call.
