Avon and Somerset Police have said they are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a serious collision on Lansdown in Bath yesterday morning, Thursday 10th January.

The incident on Lansdown Road happened shortly before 9.30am and involved a black Fiat 500 and a Land Rover Discovery.
The Fiat was travelling away from Bath Racecourse towards Bristol and the Land Rover from the Freezing Hill area towards the racecourse.
The collision between the two vehicles happened at the junction of Cotswold Way, the entrance to Avon Fire and Rescue’s Control Centre.

The driver of the Fiat suffered serious multiple injuries and remains in hospital with potential life-changing injuries.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who saw the incident or any motorists who may have captured the incident on their dashcam.
