Appeal for witnesses launched after 50-year-old man assaulted in Bath

Avon & Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and mobile phone footage following an incident in Bath in which a man was assaulted.

The victim of the attack, a 50-year-old man, was in Claverton Street at around 9.30pm on Tuesday 30th November when he was assaulted by two men.

He fell to the pavement and suffered significant injuries as a result, including a fractured cheekbone and fractured wrist.

The two offenders are described as being in their late teens and around 5ft 8ins.

One had short hair and was wearing a black padded jacket and the other had longer hair and was wearing a dark fabric jacket.
