Appeal for witnesses after pedestrian seriously injured in collision

Avon & Somerset Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a serious collision which has left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

Police say they were called to the junction of the London Road and Margarets Hill at around 7pm on Thursday 13th February, following a collision involving a pedestrian and moped-style scooter.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. They remain in hospital in a critical condition. Their next of kin have been informed.

The rider of the motorbike is supporting police enquiries, which are ongoing.
