Crest Nicholson Regeneration, the award-winning developer, has pledged its support to the inaugural Women of Bath Event organised by the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Cherry Beath.

Women of Bath will be a celebration of the achievements of local women and will be held on Monday 9th March 2015 – the day after International Women’s Day.

All around the world, International Women’s Day represents an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women. Thousands of events will be held across the world to celebrate the day.

The Mayor’s event will feature entertainment and a short fashion show from Carole Waller, a local designer who specialises in painting with dye directly onto cloth for the purpose of making completely unique painted silk clothing.

Cllr Beath said: “The Women in Bath event is a fun occasion aimed to celebrate and appreciate what fantastic Women we have in Bath, and the huge achievements and contribution they make to the City, in so many unique and innovative ways.

“I am pleased to link the event with International Women’s Day, with the theme being ‘Make it Happen’ which resonates with so many of us. And we do want lots of chaps to come too! “

Debbie Aplin, Managing Director of Crest Nicholson Regeneration said: “International Women’s Day is a fantastic opportunity to recognise the contribution women have made to the city over the years.

“We’re happy to support this initiative from Councillor Beath and I’m certain it will be an enjoyable and informative occasion.”

To order tickets for the event at £20pp or to find out about sponsorship opportunities please contact the team at [email protected] or on 01225 823004.

All profits after costs will go to The Mayor of Bath Relief fund – a charity helping vulnerable people in Bath. Donations of auction and raffle prizes are welcome.
