On Sunday 29th June, the Council is staging another sale of surplus of bedding plants and a limited number of 16-inch hanging baskets from its award-winning plant nursery.
The nursery has grown the plants that are such an essential feature of the summer in Bath and North East Somerset, and that have contributed to the many successes Bath has had in the annual Britain in Bloom competition.
This year, ‘The Herbs’ figures produced by the nursery were a major factor in the South West in Bloom display winning a Gold Medal and best display in the Great Pavilion at the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
