A new zebra crossing is proposed on Monksdale Road near the Sandpits play area in Oldfield Park.

Bath & North East Somerset Council says it will improve safety for pedestrians, especially during peak school start and finish times.

The zebra crossing will also encourage active travel, creating a safer place for passengers to walk to and from bus stops in the area.

Ward councillor Jess David said: “I am very happy to see this going forward and support the proposal.”

The closing date for objections and representations is 25th February. You can find out more here.
