The Walk of Life is organised by RUHX, the official NHS charity of the Royal United Hospitals Bath.
Walkers can choose between 10 miles, 16 miles, or a marathon distance along the Kennet & Avon Canal, to raise vital funds for their local hospital.
Twenty years on from completing the Bath Half Marathon, Suzanne is marking what would have been her brothers 60th birthday, by donning her walking boots and hitting the canal.
She said: “I’m walking in memory of my brother, Mark Hunt, who died from a Brain Tumour in March 2003 aged 37.
“I feel the walk will be a good memorial for the people I have lost and in honour of the wonderful experience I have had at the RUH”.

By taking part, walkers are asked to raise £100 to support the hospital to do more for patients, families, staff, and everyone in the local community.
Suzanne picked RUHX’s Walk of Life to honour her brother after receiving care from the hospital over the last few years.
She continued: “My experience made me feel that someone cared about what were genuine medical issues that needed addressing quickly”.
Suzanne said her standout memory of her time at the RUH was of “feeling safe and reassured by the staff, an important part of healthcare!”
