A Weston resident, James Holley, has been keeping his community active by holding daily fitness sessions on his front lawn during the coronavirus lockdown.
When he’s not exercising with his neighbours, James works as a repair and maintenance team leader in the waste department at Wessex Water, and has done so for the past nine years.
He started running sessions after his neighbour suggested doing workouts on their lawns during lockdown to stay fit and healthy.
James said: “Through word of mouth it just spread and now we do it on a day-to-day basis, obviously keeping to social distancing.
“The kids enjoy it so keep coming back, and with the kids comes the parents – I think everybody needs a bit of structure.
“Through these sessions, people can come together, and it also gives them something to look forward to.
“It’s helped to keep them mobile and motivated through a tough time; I think a little bit of positivity and community spirit can go a long way.”
