Bath City Farm has submitted a planning application to Bath & North East Somerset Council to use a converted shipping container as a therapy space.

The 37-acre farm is at Kelston View at Whiteway. The unit will be located at the rear of what is currently a pig pen and will be used for the farm’s mental health programme.
The proposals include landscaping.
An ecology report prepared as part of the application makes recommendations including helping to ensure the protection of wildlife during the development works and enhancements to increase the site’s biodiversity value once the unit is in place.
The planning reference is 24/01833/FUL. The deadline for comments is 15th August.
