Later this month, the Theatre Royal Bath will be joining with RAMBERT and theatres around the world to live stream a brand new work, Draw from Within to audiences at home.

Rambert’s full company of dancers are currently in the studio creating their first real-time, live-stream performance with leading choreographer and film-maker, Wim Vandekeybus.

On Thursday 24th and Friday 25 September, through the eye of the camera, audiences will land right in the middle of a turbo-charged live performance.

Tickets for the live stream performance can be purchased via the Theatre Royal Bath website, and are priced at £10.

Money raised from purchasing tickets via the Theatre Royal Bath website will go towards the Theatre’s fundraising efforts while the venue is closed due to social distancing measures and live performance restrictions.

Rambert’s London South Bank studios will be transformed into a series of contrasting, vivid theatrical worlds, some dream worlds, some nightmares, some turned upside down.

Before the creation process for Draw from Within began, the entire Rambert company, artists, production and technical teams were tested for COVID-19.

Having been given the all-clear, dancers were allocated to bubbles (some already share a household) and have followed all guidelines to make sure the team is kept safe and well.

Dancers and staff are temperature checked on arrival, follow markings on the floor and the washrooms even have names on.

These measures mean that when they perform the show, viewers will see some dancers in close contact but they will have been working solely with this specific group of dancers since August.

Draw from Within is streaming live on Thursday 24th September at 12noon, and Friday 25th September at 8pm.

Tickets are available from the Theatre Royal Bath website.
