The advice on offer is also being targeted at those who have perhaps thought in the past that Arts Council Funding was not for them.
The workshop will be taking place virtually using the Airmeet platform on Tuesday 1st December at 1.30pm.
The session will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about what funding is currently available and the difference between National Lottery Project Grants and Developing Your Creative Practice grants.
It will also give them tips on best practice for applying for grants and things to look out for when completing the application form.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions, which can be submitted on the day or emailed over in advance to [email protected].
Theatre Bath founder, Luke John Emmett said: “In these uncertain times we wanted to try and bring people together and give them a helping hand if we could.
“The arts world is currently in turmoil and events like this are important opportunities to bring people together, share knowledge, network and ask questions.
“We are particularly interested in ensuring that information about this event reaches those who are currently underrepresented in the creative and cultural sectors, those who have never applied before and those who live outside large cities and towns.”
Attendees are being asked to familiarise themselves with the guidance on applying for grants which can be found on the Arts Council website.
The event is free, but registration is required. Click here to book tickets.
