A group of students from the University of Bath are holding a photo scavenger hunt with interactive challenges to raise funds and awareness of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
The hunt, with over 30 challenges will take place from 21st to 25th July, and all ticket sale proceeds will go towards the charity, ensuring they can continue to provide a life-saving service 365 days a year.
Participants have the chance to win prizes including a visit to the charity’s helicopter base.
The students decided to support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) as the past year has highlighted how vital the health service is to the public and they want to make sure that it is accessible to everyone.
One of the team members said: “It’s such a vital service, and yet they receive no day to day funding from the Government or National Lottery.
“It relies completely on generous donations, so we are looking forward to raising as much money as possible.”
GWAAC’s Ian Cantoni, said: “We’re so grateful to the team from Bath University for their generosity and support.
“We rely on the people we serve to help us raise the ?3 million we need each year to stay operational. The money raised will help us to provide critical care to those who need it the most – saving more lives.”
