Next month, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath is celebrating Midsummer with a twilight supper in its private walled gardens, in aid of local charity Julian House.

Full of the joys of Midsummer, the evening will consist of music, Champagne and a five-course menu that embraces English summer produce and nature’s spoils.

The event has been created in conjunction with The Pig Guide, and all proceeds from it will be donated to Julian House.

Guests will enjoy an evening dining al fresco surrounded by wild flowers and enjoying the sound of acoustic guitar music.

In echoes of Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ guests will dine under the night sky with the ambient light from lanterns hung around the gardens, as music plays to create a truly magical atmosphere.

The five-course tasting menu created by the hotel’s Executive Head Chef David Campbell will celebrate traditional British fare and seasonal summer produce to create a culinary journey.

Julian House is an initiative that the The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa say they are pleased to support, as it works to directly help those most marginalised in society.

With over 40 projects operating throughout the South West, from social enterprise to supporting those with learning difficulties, Julian House’s work helps to change the lives of some of society’s most vulnerable individuals.

The Midsummer Garden Party takes place on Thursday 20th June, between 7pm and 10pm. Tickets cost £99 per person, including welcome glass of Champagne, five courses and a matching wine flight.
