Residents will once again be able to enjoy Julian House’s Bath Board Game Day event as it returns next February after being delayed twice by the pandemic.
The event, which first took place in November 2019, will be held on Sunday 20th February 2022 at Komedia in Bath.
The charity is calling on board game fans young and old to join them, play games and have fun for a good cause.
Gamers, new and experienced, can choose to go along for the whole day, 10am – 8pm or just half a day and will have the opportunity to pick and play different games from the games library including big blockbuster hits, classics and indie gems.
Whether it’s a quick and playful game of bluffing and laughter perfect for young children and families or a lengthy game full of strategy and skill for avid gamers, there will be something for everyone.
The event will be sponsored by Blue Orange Games. Attendees will have the chance to join on the day tournaments and enter a board game bundle raffle.
Event organiser Jessica Gay said: “Bath Board Game Day is all about having fun with friends and family for a good cause.
“You can feel good in the knowledge your ticket fee is helping to support vulnerable and at risk people and children experiencing homelessness or escaping domestic abuse.
“The day offers the chance to be part of something bigger and join us in our mission to alleviate homelessness in and around Bath.
“We’ve very pleased that Bath Gaming Group have again kindly offered to support the event, meaning a packed games library and game hosts on hand to help novice participants with game rules and instructions.”
Early bird ticket sales are open and end on 6th December. You can get yours here.
