The organisers of this summer’s Robbie Williams concerts in front of the Royal Crescent have successfully applied to temporarily remove some of the listed railings so that a stage can be built on the Crescent Lawn.

Railings in front of the Royal Crescent in Bath
Bollards in the listed road at the junction of Marlborough Buildings and Royal Crescent can also be temporarily removed, Bath & North East Somerset Council has agreed.
Access onto the lawn will be via a bridge through the point of the dismantled railings.
Concert organisers Senbla say the railings will be reinstated following the event which is taking place on Saturday 14th June.
Similar works were carried out in 2022 when Michael Bublé appeared in concert in front of the Royal Crescent.
