The popular community website NOW Bath, which provides local residents with news and events across the City of Bath has been relaunched with a new name, the Bath Echo.

Since launching in February 2010, the NOW Bath team have been busy keeping Bathonians in the know about what’s going on in their city.

Over the past few months, the team behind NOW Bath have been building a new brand, the Bath Echo, to improve local news coverage for the Bath area.

From this morning, the NOW Bath website, social media accounts and news coverage will all be under the Bath Echo brand.

You’ll be able to keep up-to-date with the latest news and what’s on across Bath, via this brand new website.

With an increased team at the Bath Echo, there’ll be more news on offer as well as a live feed on the new website directly from the newsdesk.

This will be updated throughout the day every day, in addition to the social media accounts – a perfect way to ensure you don’t miss a thing.

Seb Hawker, the editor of the Bath Echo, said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to give something back to the Bath community and relaunching NOW Bath as the Bath Echo has been very worthwhile.

“Having spent the past five years improving what we offer, we felt the time was right to provide our biggest updates so far: a new name, website and expanded team.

“I hope that everyone who supported the NOW Bath brand in the past will continue with the Bath Echo, and I know our expanded team are looking forward to getting further involved in the community.”
