The plans relate to the building used by Bath First National Spiritualist Church in Old Orchard Street.
They involve demolishing the existing single-storey toilet, erecting an attached single-storey building, and converting the lower ground, ground and first floors to form two one-bedroom flats and a two-bedroom flat.
The ground and first floors were until recently used by the church. The ground floor formed the main worship area, while the first floor had the administration office and an informal sitting area and a kitchen and toilet.
The property is Grade II listed so there is also an application for listed building consent.
The second and third floors are already in use as a two-storey flat.
The applicant is Snappy 360 Ltd. The planning reference is 25/00831/FUL and the deadline for comments is 10th April.
