The village of Peasedown St John near Bath once again has a full-time permanent Post Office after a branch was reopened at its former site on Bath Road.

The village’s Post Office has been temporarily run at The Hive Community Centre
The new Post Office opened on 8th June and is located at 45 Bath Road, where it was previously based until the store which had operated the branch closed down.
This permanent branch replaces the temporary one that had been operating from The Hive Community Centre.
The new opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5pm.
This is an additional 18 hours a week than previously provided, including Saturday afternoons, earlier opening and later closing.
Graham Brander, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored a full-time, permanent Post Office to Peasedown St John.
“We want to thank The Hive Community Centre for providing space for the pop-up Post Office in the interim.”
