Local accountancy firm Milsted Langdon is to join a panel of specialists to host the first ever South West Charity Conference being held in Bath next month.

The charity conference is to be held at the Apex Hotel in Bath

The conference has been created to assist the region’s charities and not-for-profit entities with their growth and diversification, with a key focus on the future of the third sector.

During the conference, which is due to take place at Bath’s Apex Hotel on Thursday 7th February 2019, Milsted Langdon will be joined by professionals from Stone King LLP, Novia Financial and the Fidelius Group, with support from local business publication The Bath Business Exchange.

It will touch upon important subjects including alternative funding streams, investment strategies and looking at the future of charities and not-for-profits in the digital age.

Gill Freeman, a Partner and head of the charity and not-for-profit sector team at Milsted Langdon, said: “This inaugural conference will be an exciting and innovative event for charity and not-for-profit organisations from across the region.

“As well as hearing from an expert line-up of speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to make new connections with other organisations to learn from each other and share experiences. This sector is something we’re very passionate about at Milsted Langdon and I’m so pleased we can help to facilitate such an event.

“We hope that many of the industry’s key leaders in the area will join us for this conference and that it sparks the kind of discussions that will help them to advance their causes.”

The event is aimed at South West-based charities and not-for-profit organisations, with registration opening at 8:30am. Tickets are priced at £30 + VAT and include refreshments and a buffet lunch.
