The Birthday Buses scheme gives residents unlimited free bus and WESTlink journeys across the West of England throughout the whole month of their birthday.
‘Birthday Buses’ was introduced by the Metro Mayor, allowing all one million-plus residents in the region to travel on buses across 350-plus square mile network for free.
Locals need to apply at least 7 days before the start of the month to benefit from the whole scheme, though people can still apply up to the 15th, and get a Birthday Month Bus Pass for the remainder of the month.
Dan Norris said: “It’s great to be able to give someone a birthday gift, but this is also a serious plan – to grow passenger numbers in Bath and NE Somerset which is key to getting more fare income to invest in better buses for all, and overcoming the climate crisis we face.
“For those with November birthdays who haven’t done so already – please get applying! You’ve got lots to gain and – literally – nothing to lose. Head to www.birthdaybus.co.uk today.”
