A man has been taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath this afternoon following a collision involving multiple cars, a bus and a building in the city centre.

Emergency services were called shortly after 2pm on Friday, 17th January, to reports of the incident on Westgate Buildings.
The car collided with two parked vehicles, the USC/Sports Direct store and a First Bus before coming to a halt.

Avon & Somerset Police said in a statement: “We were called at 2.01pm to reports a car had collided with a bus, two parked vehicles and a building in Westgate Buildings in Bath.
“Officers attended alongside the ambulance service. A man was taken to hospital but no one is believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
“The road was briefly closed but has since reopened.”

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 14:02hrs on Friday 17 January to a road traffic collision in Bath.
“We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Royal United Hospital Bath.”
