Bath & North East Somerset Council is intending to make an order to reduce the bus lane by 20 metres to allow for a new road junction to be built as part of the Strongvox Homes development.

It says the start of the existing bus lane needs to be adjusted so that the taper starts after the new junction. All signs and road markings will be adjusted.

Right turn restrictions are also being proposed into and out of the Strongvox development to ensure safe access and help maintain the movement of traffic along London Road West.

Both schemes are being funded by the developer.

Objections and representations on either scheme must be submitted to the council by 8th May.
