Venues will be open from 10.30am until 5pm on both days, apart from Widcombe Baptist Church, which is open from 12.30pm on the Sunday, and entry is free.
There will be 26 artists in a mixture of community venues and private homes, including The Natural Theatre Company and Widcombe Baptist Church.
The trail features art of all types including sculpture, painting, printmaking, glasswork, textile art and photography.
New features this year include The Freedom Exhibition at the Baptist Church – paintings, images and photographs exploring the theme of freedom – and the presence of Bath Urban Sketchers at Deli@TheRam.
There is a suggested walking route linking the venues by road and footpath, but visitors are welcome to join wherever convenient and visit as many venues as they like.
Pippa Wrigley, the trail organiser, said: “Our artists are looking forward to welcoming people and chatting about their work.
“This friendly, volunteer-run event gives local artists and makers the chance to exhibit and sell their arts and crafts direct, celebrating the best that Widcombe has to offer.”
