Bargain household items, too good for recycling, will be going on sale at a popular re-use event organised by Bath & North East Somerset Council later this month.

Furniture, bric-a-brac, bicycles, garden ware and building materials are among the items that will be available at the sale on Saturday 20th October, from 10am-12 noon at the old MOD building, next to the Recycling Centre, in Pixash Lane, Keynsham, BS31 1TP.

If you are looking to help furnish your home or searching for items for upcycling projects, it’s a great opportunity to purchase good quality pre-loved items at bargain prices.

Items start at £5, though some will be given away for free.

There will also be an opportunity to buy plants which have been selected from B&NES Council’s award winning Royal Victoria Park Nursery.

Cash or card payment over £5 is accepted. All items bought must be taken away during the sale times.

If you are visiting the Recycling Centres at Keynsham or Midsomer Norton, and have items that could be reused, see the site staff who will put the donations to one side for the sale.
